Move With Me

Participants will explore a variety of movement activities, including dance, chair yoga, stretching, and exercises using resistance bands. This class encourages participants to try different types of movement, improve flexibility, build strength, and have fun while staying active in a supportive and engaging environment.

Games Galore

Participants will enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor games, from board games like Uno and checkers to outdoor activities such as bocce, badminton, putting, cornhole, and more. This class promotes fun, friendly competition, teamwork, and social connection in an engaging, active environment.

Pop-Up Podcast

This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the basics of podcasting in a fun and engaging way. Participants will learn interviewing skills, practice asking and answering questions, and interview each other on a variety of topics. They will also have opportunities to engage with members of the community, building communication, confidence, and creative expression through podcasting. No prior experience is required.

Creative Expressions

Participants will explore a variety of artistic activities, including painting, crafting, clay, drawing, and other hands-on projects. Rhythm & Community

Participants will engage in interactive music activities, including drum circles, musical storytelling, and collaborative rhythm exercises. Guest musicians may join to play with and for participants, creating a lively, engaging environment. This class encourages self-expression, creativity, teamwork, and connection through the power of music and rhythm.

Botany & Beyond

Participants will explore the world of plants while learning about plant design, growing techniques, and care.  They will get hands-on experience with hydroponics, vertical planting, raised gardens, and designing planters.

Videography

Participants will learn basic filming and video production including camera use, framing and storytelling , while creating short videos individually and with others.  This is a four-week course and will continue on a monthly basis.

Culinary Creations

Participants learn kitchen safety and safe food prep while creating delicious dishes.  They will make meals like lasagna, tacos and charcuterie boards,(just to name few) while exploring flavor, creativity, and hands-on cooking skills in a fun, interactive environment.

The Art of Storytelling

Participants will engage in a facilitator led recreational group reading a book, sharing stories, and participating in discussions and roleplay to build communication, social skills and peer interaction.

Make A Mark

Participants will design and create their own custom projects while learning the basics of digital design using computers, Cricut machines, and a heat press. In this hands-on, creative class, participants bring their ideas to life through personalized items while building confidence, self-expression, and practical design skills in a fun and supportive environment.

As the program continues to grow, participants will have opportunities to expand their skills into additional creative areas such as embroidery, sewing, and fabric design and painting, tie-dye as well as customizing clothing, bags, hats, and other wearable items allowing them to create unique, functional pieces and explore even more ways to express their creativity.
